NSW SES logotype
The NSW State Emergency Service is a state government organisation which provides a variety of emergency and rescue services. Its main remit relates to events occuring due to floods, storms and tsunami although its members may also serve as auxiliaries to other government services when need be.
The NSW SES is staffed by volunteers.
Uniforms & Insignias[]
The NSW SES uses the same british-type insignias as the majority of australian uniformed services.
While on duty in the field, members of the NSW SES wear distinctive orange protective gear.
